Mountain climbing

Given that the massive mountain Prenj, one of the most important factors in the region of Herzegovina clouds over Boracko lake, it was our imperative to provide a n interesting adventure for all visitors seeking to explore this mountain. While it is less extreme and adrenaline-inducing than other activities we offer, this journey will certainly make you feel reconnected with nature and amazed at what nature has to offer. It is a trip painted with breathtaking landscapes, fresh air, wild wonders... And it will leave you speechless.

The trip to mountain Prenj looks something like this:

After breakfast, our SUVs would take you to the plain below the highest peaks of mountain Prenj: Tisovica. After this 2-3 hour drive, we would be ready for the hike from Tisovica to Vrutak (one of the peaks above Tisovica). This would be a light stroll of around an hour and a half, followed by a snack while enjoying the breathtaking view of the surrounding peaks we would be getting ready to climb. After the snack, we would embark on the trip to our main destination: the Zelena Glava peak, which, translated into English, means Green Head, at the height of 2155m. This section of our trip would be slightly more demanding, and it would take us around 3 hours to reach the top. The effort, however, is absolutely worth it, as this mountain peak gives you the view of three cities, Konjic, Sarajevo and Mostar, from three sides. If the weather is good, there is even a chance of seeing the Adriatic Sea! The returning trip is slightly faster than the climb, and it would take around 4 hours to reach Tisovica, from where we would, again, be on our way back to the villa.
In addition to the Zelena Glava hike, our staff and professional team would be more than happy to arrange any other hike of your choice – suited according to your needs, wants and capabilities.
